Boyfriend In Cornwall...
These photo's are of my boyfriend having lots of fun in the surf at Cornwall. He was quite far out so I used the zoom lense and I selected a fast shutter speed to capture the movement of the waves. I loved watching the boyfriend having so much fun and I am pretty pleased with the photos too seeing they were my first ever go at action shots.

Boat In Cornwall...
I took this picture while on a summer holiday in Cornwall. We stopped for a rest at a picturesque estuary and I spied this little tiny boat. Perfect for one or maybe even two if you you don't mind a squeeze! I like the reflection it casts on the water and the warm hazy summer image it brings to mind of just lazing around on the water.

Central Park...
This picture was taken in Central Park in Manhattan New York. It shows the restaurant The Tavern On The Green. If you think you may recognise it then that’s because it has been a scene shown in many NYC films and programmes. Remember the Sex and the city eposide where Carrie falls into the lake, well this is the one. I never ventured inside I doubted it's menu would have been in my price range.

Manhattan From Liberty Island...
Manhattan skyline viewed from Liberty Island. I like the contrast in this photo, the setting sun gives a warmth to the buildings and coupled with the deep blue sky gives the impression of a summers day. However the bleak leafless trees bare witness to the fact that it is indeed wintertime. One of those rare and beautiful crisp, clear and sunny mid-winter days.

Manhattan Skyline...
Manhattan skyline in December sun. On my first visit to New York I was, for the first few days, totally overwhelmed by the sheer size and hustle of this city. One felt like one was risking ones life to try to cross the roads and to take a ride in the famous yellow cabs….eeekkk you definitely was risking life and limb. After the shock wore off I had time to appreciate this awesome city and its scope for some amazing photographic opportunities. Do not be fooled by the glorious blue December sky however, it rains too, a lot. Very heavy rain at that and on those days the camera stayed tucked away to keep dry, it was only me that got soaked.

Another Manhattan Skyline...
Manhattan skyline in the setting sun of December 2004. Repair work was still in process on the buildings surrounding the fallen World Trade Towers. The building in the background with the enormous crane next to it was only half repaired after the terror attack of 2001, with glass still being replaced to the upper floors. Some other buildings close to ground zero were still clothed in black netting. Giving an eerie appearance that the building themselves were still in mourning. The setting sun cast a wonderful glow to the building, giving an array of colours and a feeling of warmth. The photo was taken while aboard the ferry to visit Liberty Island.

The Statue Of Liberty...
Located on 12-acre Liberty Island in New York Harbour, the Statue of Liberty was a gift of international friendship from the people of France to the people of the United States and is one of the most universal symbols of political freedom and democracy. The Statue of Liberty was dedicated on October 28, 1886 and was designated a National Monument on October 15, 1924. I was very pleased how well this photo turned out. I like the shadows cast upon the statue and the soft white clouds in the deep blue sky.

The Statue Of Liberty's Rear...
Be prepared on your visit to the lady to expect numerous and rigours security checks. Including taking off your shoes and having your hair blown up to stand on end, much to your embarrassment and friends laughter. Try to remember that she is a terror target so it’s all to protect you and others. Due to the risks of terrorist attack you can no longer travel up inside the body of the statue. However I still enjoyed the visit to the monument and it’s museum. Well worth a visit.

The Sphere...
This picture was taken in Battery Park, Lower Manhattan New York City. This is now home to the remains of Fritz Koenig's "The Sphere," which formerly stood in the fountain of the trade centre plaza. "The Sphere," a bronze sculpture which weighs 5,000 pounds and is 15 feet in diameter, was gashed and partially crushed by falling debris on the day of the September 11th attack on the World Trade Centre Towers. I found it to be a deeply moving tribute to all those who lost their lives on that terrible day.
