Manhattan skyline viewed from Liberty Island. I like the contrast in this photo, the setting sun gives a warmth to the buildings and coupled with the deep blue sky gives the impression of a summers day. However the bleak leafless trees bare witness to the fact that it is indeed wintertime. One of those rare and beautiful crisp, clear and sunny mid-winter days.
