Hic Bibi Rally 2006...

This photo was taken at the Hic Bibi 3rd Charity Rally. This small friendly biker rally is held each year in Coppull during April. I was looking for different perspectives on the rally for my photo. So when I saw our friend's Gary and Karen's shiny bike I hit on the the idea of taking the the picture as reflected in the bike. After all it is no easy task to make a field of tents look interesting!

On The Edge...

The boyfriend showing how fit he is on his mountain bike. I changed the photo to negative and altered the colours to give the sky effect. It reminds me of the Deftones -Adrenaline back album cover. For those not familiar with the Deftones they are a metal band and they Rock!!! My mates like this photo saying it was arty? Please let me know what you think.

Volcano...

Same photo different colours. This one giving a warm, arid feel as opposed to the cool feel of the other photo.

Fireworks...

The following photos were my first ever attempt at taking pictures of fireworks. I was quite far away so I had to rely on the zoom lens and a steady hand. The pink in photo one are just stunning (yes I do love pink). By tracking the fireworks some wonderful effects could be created as it the second photo. The third photo creates the feeling of being drawn into its centre and if you flick your eyes slightly while staring at it you get a great sense of movement. The last one I just like the feeling of action it evokes, you can almost smell that smoke and hear the bangs as the fireworks explode in the night sky.
